Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Mix 2 scoops in 12-16 ounces of water, milk, or liquid of your choice, and shake in a shaker cup or prepare in a blender. To prevent clumping, always be sure to put the liquid into the container first, with the powder added on top.
How should I store the protein powder? Please store the protein powder in a dry, cool place, such as a closet or pantry. Do not store the protein powder in the refrigerator or freezer as moisture can shorten the shelf life.
Is there any cinnamon in Pumpkin Spice?Yes, the Pumpkin Spice flavor contains organic cinnamon powder, which can be found at the bottom of our list of ingredients!
How do I mix Pumpkin Spice Plant Protein Powder into a hot drink? To get the smoothest texture, we recommend first mixing the protein powder with a small amount of room temperature liquid to create a smooth paste. Once it’s well blended, slowly add your hot liquid while stirring continuously. This helps prevent clumping. If you notice clumps forming, your liquid may be too hot — let it cool slightly before mixing for the best result.
Is there any caffeine in the Pumpkin Spice Protein Powder? There is no caffeine as the Pumpkin Spice Powder does not contain any added caffeine, and none of the ingredients are known to naturally contain caffeine.
Has the Pumpkin Spice Plant Protein Powder been reformulated since last year’s release? We’re excited to share that Orgain’s Plant-Based Protein Powders have been reformulated! Erythritol has been removed from the ingredient list, and we’ve added organic mung bean protein — a legume from the pea family — to our Organic Protein™ Blend. This addition helps provide a more complete plant protein profile and a creamier, smoother taste experience. Mung beans are also a natural source of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
The updated formula is already available in market. However, because our protein powders have a two-year shelf life, you may still see both the previous and new formulas on store shelves.
For sweetness, the new formula uses organic stevia and organic agave inulin fiber, a natural ingredient that also contributes to dietary fiber. While organic erythritol is no longer used in this product, it may still be found in select Orgain items. If it is included, it will always be clearly listed on the ingredient label and Nutrition Facts Panel. Rest assured, sweeteners like stevia, erythritol (a sugar alcohol), and monk fruit are always declared by their common names and will never be hidden under terms like “natural flavors.”
Yes! It is perfectly okay for a child to consume. As a general guideline, we recommend reducing the serving size to more closely suit the moderate protein needs of a child. For children between the ages of 2 and 4 we recommend decreasing the serving to 1/4 serving (half a scoop) and for children from 4-12 years old to 1/2 serving (1 scoop).
